Terms and Conditions

While we wish true love could be guaranteed, we do not have that power. We offer the following commitments and expecations of the relationship you hold with us:

1. Gladness of Heart LLC ("GoH") provides dating and matchmaking services to clients. These services are provided with the intention of facilitating relationship but GoH makes no guarantees of true love. 

2. To ensure a robust matchmaking pool, clients are expected to commit to at least six months of participation in the pool. This subscription period begins once the pool has received a critical mass. 

3. Clients will pay an initial, non-refundable deposit to secure their place in the pool and the balance of their fees when their subscription period begins. 

4. Subscribers will receive quarterly invites to member only mixers as part of their subsciption benefits.

5. GoH will hand pick matches for subscribers based on stated preferences and our matching methodology. We make no guarantees of a minimum number of matches. If, after the initial listing expires, a client has not received any matches, GoH will extend their listing for an additional six months, free of charge. 

6. Clients are expected to respond to matching emails promptly to facilitate first dates.

7. Clients are expected to treat other members with respect and kindness. Inappropriate behavior is grounds for dismissal from the pool, without a refund.

8. Subscriptions for nine or twelve months offer the option of a listing pause. If a subscriber would like to take a break from the pool, they can enact the pause for a maximum of three months. This will extend the expiration of their subscription accordingly. If, after the pause, the client wishes to leave the pool, they may forfeit the remainder of their subscription and do so. 

9. GoH participants are not subject to additional screening beyond our enrollment procedures. We offer no guarantees as to the idnetities or the backgrounds of participants and it is incumbent upon individuals to screen potential partners if they decide a relationship is in their future.
